The provisions of this Agreement shall continue to apply to periods of insurance and equivalent periods completed before the date of entry into force of termination, subject to any conditions which may be laid down in amendments concluded by the parties concerned to govern any rights resulting from the acquisition. This Agreement shall apply to all social security provisions in force at the time of signature or which may subsequently enter into force in any part of the territory of the Contracting Parties and which relate to the General Agreement on Social Security between France and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg of 12 November 1949. 3. The agreements referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 shall be modified by the fact that references to a given age in relation to a right to a pension or a right to a pension shall be treated by united Kingdom legislation as a reference to the united Kingdom retirement age, which has the importance of Section 122 (interpretation of Parts 1 to 6 and supplementary provisions) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act. 1992(7).
